Last updated: June 2026 · Alder Rise · Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Alder Rise (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at alderrise.com, the client portal, and the mobile application (together, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and your rights under Canadian law. By using the Service you consent to the practices described here.
1. Our role: your data vs. your customers’ data
For information about you, our client (your account and business details), Alder Rise is the organization responsible for that information. For information about your customers and leadsthat flows through the Service (e.g., a missed-call text or a captured lead), you are the organization responsible for that information and Alder Rise acts as your service provider, processing it on your behalf and on your instructions. As our client, you are responsible for obtaining any consents required to collect and message your customers (see Section 5).
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details: business name, contact name, email, phone, and password
- Business information: trade type, service area, advertising budget
- Billing information: processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers
- Lead & customer information: names, phone numbers, emails, and addresses captured through forms, missed-call texts, call tracking, and the AI receptionist
- Messages & call content: SMS conversations and call recordings made through your assigned number
Information collected automatically
- Device push-notification token: to alert you about missed calls, new leads, and replies
- Location: only on demand when you open the Lead Locations map; we geocode lead addresses and do not track your location in the background
- Call metadata: phone numbers, duration, and status for calls routed through your number
- Usage and device data: to operate, secure, and improve the Service
3. How we use information
- To operate and deliver the Service: managing leads, calls, SMS, campaigns, and reporting
- To send push notifications and account communications
- To send automated SMS on your behalf from your assigned number (e.g., missed-call recovery, review requests). See Section 5.
- To process payments and prevent fraud
- To generate performance reports and improve the Service
- As required to comply with law
4. Call recording
Calls routed through tracking numbers may be recorded for quality, training, and attribution. Where the law requires, callers are notified that calls may be recorded. As our client, you are responsible for ensuring such notice is given and that recordings are used lawfully.
5. Marketing messages & CASL
Commercial electronic messages we send are subject to Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every such message identifies the sender and includes a way to unsubscribe, which we honour promptly. Replying STOP to any SMS opts that number out. Where the Service sends messages to your customers on your behalf, you confirm you have the consent required under CASL and applicable law, and you remain responsible for honouring opt-out requests. You can manage your own communication preferences or unsubscribe at any time by contacting info@alderrise.com.

As a result, your information may be processed outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, including lawful access by their courts and authorities. We use reputable providers and contractual protections, but by using the Service you acknowledge this cross-border processing.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and operate the Service. If we add analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide a way to manage your choices.
9. Data retention
We retain account, lead, call, and message records while your account is active and as needed for reporting and legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time by emailing info@alderrise.com. On cancellation, we delete or de-identify your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Biometric credentials (Face ID / Touch ID) stay in your device’s secure enclave and are never sent to our servers. We use row-level security so each client can only access their own data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
